Production Manager

Location: London

Reporting to: Head of Content - JamPot Productions

Role Overview

JamPot is looking for a Production Manager to play a central role in delivering our growing slate of shows.

This role sits at the heart of the business, bringing together talent, producers and partners to turn ideas into high-quality output. You will be responsible for ensuring productions run smoothly, efficiently and to a consistently high standard — while building the systems and workflows that support JamPot’s continued growth.

As Production Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple podcast and content productions, ensuring timelines, budgets and logistics are managed effectively.

You’ll act as the central point of coordination across teams, helping align creative ambition with operational excellence. As JamPot scales, you’ll also play a key role in shaping the production infrastructure that enables us to grow efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Delivery

  • Oversee end-to-end production management across multiple podcast shows and projects.

  • Build and manage production schedules, ensuring all key milestones are met.

  • Coordinate studio bookings, crew, equipment and talent availability.

  • Ensure all productions are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard.

  • Manage production capacity across teams, allocating resources effectively as output scales.

  • Coordinate and onboard freelancers to ensure productions are properly staffed.

Project Management

  • Act as the central point of coordination across production, talent and external partners.

  • Manage multiple productions simultaneously, prioritising effectively across competing deadlines.

  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout the production process.

  • Identify and resolve issues quickly to avoid disruption to delivery.

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Develop and manage production budgets across shows.

  • Track costs and ensure productions remain within budget.

  • Identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

  • Manage freelancers and suppliers, including rate negotiation and approvals.

Operational Processes

  • Establish and maintain clear production workflows and processes.

  • Ensure all production documentation (schedules, call sheets, risk assessments, etc.) is accurate and up to date.

  • Ensure all productions meet legal and compliance requirements, including talent releases, rights clearances and licensing.

  • Continuously improve processes to support scale and operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with producers, digital teams and talent to align production with content needs.

  • Support production requirements for social and video outputs where needed.

  • Collaborate with external studios, partners and suppliers.

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 5–8+ years’ experience in production management within podcasting, television or digital content.

  • Experience working in TV or broadcast environments (highly desirable).

  • A strong track record of managing multiple productions simultaneously.

  • Experience implementing and managing project management tools and workflows (e.g. Asana, Monday.com, Notion).

  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and production logistics.

  • Experience working with talent, freelancers and external suppliers.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth production environment.
